Greetings from Berlin!
Several weeks ago one of my newer clients asked about this fascia stuff to which I so often refer and orient my bodywork. I gave her my spiel and a brief history of how I came to study fascia, my teachers and influencers.
The next day, she emailed me with an article about fascia, written by Dr. Mercola, a DC who often translates scientific articles in a clear and understandable way to the public. That article and its accompanying video appeared just that morning, coincidentally, and pretty much reiterated everything I’d explained the day before. Here’s the link: articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2018/09/01/what-is-fascia.aspx?utm_source=wnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art4&utm_campaign=20180913Z1&et_cid=DM232970&et_rid=417993327

It was so fun to see those with whom I became acquainted at the first Int’l Fascia Research Congress at Harvard, in 2007; Robert Schleip, who discovered fascia’s contractility. Antonio Stecco, with whom I’ve attended two fascia study workshops of cadaver dissections in New York. (That "Italian Noogie" thing I do to loosen adhesions...that's from him and his family. They call it Fascial Manipulation). Last year in Ulm, Germany, I was privileged to spend a full day workshop with Tom Myers, who held me both spellbound with fascination and at other times so happy to be “on the right track” in my own understanding that I could have cried. There is more, but you get the idea.
Tomorrow begins the 5th International Fascia Research Congress, and I am happy to be here in Berlin, Germany to attend and hear the latest research. Stay tuned on my blog page for periodic updates to share some of the pearls with you as they are presented. There are so often so many. Sharing it with you will help me remember it all, too.

What's new in our Hyperbarics?
The Good Health Collective, LLC is about to add another chamber! In December we will go through some remodeling to make space for a second chamber! We're incredibly excited about it.
Are you a pro or collegiate athlete? Come see how an 80 minute session in the chamber helps you recover from tough workouts or competitions to be ready faster for the next one. How will your body utilize extra oxygen in the tissues to perform or heal? How will you feel with less inflammation and more energy? Come find out for yourself.
The "GHC" always follows confidentiality practices. Unless specifically released, we will never "name drop" to boost our business.
Are you a medical professional and curious about the HBOT chamber, what it's like, how it feels? Drop us a note in the contact form below or give us a call at (5 zero 3) 421-1668 and arrange a time to try it for yourself. Helping your patients heal faster is good for everybody.
